'a right pair of fucks'
a play on visuals as well play on words. sometime ago, in my distant past, i remember being slightly drunk wth a friend laughing and joking around, guffawing and babbling on, and someone also sat at the table, said "what is it with you two, a right pair of fucks", it remains in my memory for some reason.
mad as a box of frogs is an eclectic series of original works intricately contained within a defined box frame size. the words and phrases used may resonate with people, situations, or even abstract concepts. the content often weaves together elements of humour and confrontational themes. many pieces creatively manipulate the shape and form of the text itself, drawing the viewer's attention. the artwork explores various themes through a mixed media approach. while the phrase evokes a visual image, it is not meant to be taken literally.
it serves as a figure of speech that reflects the work that excites me and ideally captivates the viewer as well.
