'all day i dream......'
as a teenager, the adidas footwear was the one to wear, samba, santiago and to have an adidas holdall was the utmost.
many years of having samba as a main stay footwear i decided i would pay homage to them and the schoolboy phrase. 
i have painted two versions of this artwork, having been commissioned to produce one in a slightly smaller size, what an offer of a few 'bucks' does!
 
i can’t remember if i actually believed him or not, but it wasn’t until years later that I found out adidas actually stood for “all day i dream about soccer” — and it wasn’t until years later still I found out that acronym was also bullshit.
the phrase "adidas all day i dream about sex" is a popular, incorrect backronym for the band korn's song titled addidas. the song title is an acronym for "all day i dream about sex," but it has nothing to do with the brand Adidas, though the band famously wore the clothing in their early years
