'bleedin teenagers'
you know they reach that age, and apart from the grunts and muffled moaning its the world of them letting you know where you stand. as parents you can offer advice in a multitude of ways, but parental advice is not always heeded, this work is based on that.
mad as a box of frogs is an eclectic series of original works intricately contained within a defined box frame size. the words and phrases used may resonate with people, situations, or even abstract concepts. the content often weaves together elements of humour and confrontational themes. many pieces creatively manipulate the shape and form of the text itself, drawing the viewer's attention. the artwork explores various themes through a mixed media approach. while the phrase evokes a visual image, it is not meant to be taken literally.
it serves as a figure of speech that reflects the work that excites me and ideally captivates the viewer as well.
