'brighton i-360'
as part of jos birthday celebration we spent a weekend down in brighton, i had booked her on a silver jewellery making course, i popped around to a friend's house to watch the international rugby. in the evening, we had a tremendous meal in the 'lanes' and enjoyed a tipple at the gin festival!
part of the weekend, we booked tickets for the i-360, a local landmark and enjoyed the views over brighton and the south downs, this painting was created as a memory to that weekend.
mainly working with acrylic on canvas my work adds simplicity to a recognisable image, where text can be an integral part of the artwork itself or a mechanism to carry an idea that convey thoughts we all have, places we have been and comments we could have made.
