'ewe arsing around'
a combination of the original just arsing around mad as series circa 2023 with a new direction using the woolly animals (in this plastic!)
this is of cause an icelandic tradition with roots back in the past when pastures and fields near the farms were so precious that they had to be kept for the hay harvest. addled, befuddled, muddled, muzzy, woolly, woolly-headed, wooly-minded. confused. mentally confused; unable to think with clarity or act intelligently.
mad as a box of frogs is an eclectic series of original works intricately contained within a defined box frame size. the words and phrases used may resonate with people, situations, or even abstract concepts. the content often weaves together elements of humour and confrontational themes. many pieces creatively manipulate the shape and form of the text itself, drawing the viewer's attention. the artwork explores various themes through a mixed media approach. while the phrase evokes a visual image, it is not meant to be taken literally.
it serves as a figure of speech that reflects the work that excites me and ideally captivates the viewer as well.
