'fomo' this artwork is a little 'dig' at the commercial art market in which many pieces are purchased because they match the colour scheme of the intended room or it has been produced by the 'newest' art movement/artist in vogue. i would never own a d hirst work.

fomo occurs when a celebrity, influencer, or social media endorsement triggers a sudden, unplanned purchase by a consumer. this happens because endorsements can build brand trust, create a sense of social pressure or "FOMO" (fear of missing out), and evoke positive emotions like pleasure and excitement that override rational decision-making.

in other words buy me....

the 'pure' series that explores short phrases or sentences. they are simple to look at, yet they can hide a complex process of colour choices, positioning and relationship to the text.

there's a saying that a picture paints a thousand words, but sometimes a phrase or a selection of words can raise questions or take you on a journey. it all depends on the words used and what order they are placed. it's an adventure creating vivid images from my weirdly fascinating mind, which is not always pure!

or in fact, the words just might make you smile
