'golden oldie'
everyday is like a holiday, well something like that. when youv'e reached sixty, you tend to give less of a fuck, after reading a relations book fucked at 40 i thought, well i'm twenty years older what the hell do i care! i'm still pleasant, sociable and come across as a thoughtful chap. i just wish, sometimes, i could live up to this mantra, making the artwork helps.
mad as a box of frogs is an eclectic series of original works intricately contained within a defined box frame size. the words and phrases used may resonate with people, situations, or even abstract concepts. the content often weaves together elements of humour and confrontational themes. many pieces creatively manipulate the shape and form of the text itself, drawing the viewer's attention. the artwork explores various themes through a mixed media approach. while the phrase evokes a visual image, it is not meant to be taken literally.
it serves as a figure of speech that reflects the work that excites me and ideally captivates the viewer as well.
in other words - just get stuck in!
