'just the thing'
do you fancy a bit of artwork for your wall at home or work? this piece kinda knocks the idea of 'great art' - could it be perceived as attempting to impress or seem more important, skillful, or cultured than it is, often due to a disconnect between the effort shown and the perceived value; yeah, as i thought bollocks
the 'pure' series that explores short phrases or sentences. they are simple to look at, yet they can hide a complex process of colour choices, positioning and relationship to the text.
there's a saying that a picture paints a thousand words, but sometimes a phrase or a selection of words can raise questions or take you on a journey. it all depends on the words used and what order they are placed. it's an adventure creating vivid images from my weirdly fascinating mind, which is not always pure!
or in fact, the words just might make you smile
