'love is ...'
who doesn't love a bacon sandwich! the question is....... what about an orgasm, who's up for that?
for those who were around in the 1970's many will remember the love notes from kim grove to her husband, used previously in one of my commissioned works. 
‘answers on a postcard’ is the series that extends and develops from the ‘mad as a box of frogs’ series. it’s a dilemma - original or a limited edition of your work is a question that often has conflicting answers; in this case original, is that weird?  as someone who loves words, phrases and humour this work combines all three. theses phrases make me laugh and so hopefully the viewer can get a giggle from them too. they are hand-painted on either canvas, paper or board; each one being finished with the aid of a model maker’s magnifying lamp and a 5/10 brush oh dear my poor eyesight!
