'through the trees#4'
part of the ongoing 'through the trees' series. the isolation and, more importantly, the peace and quiet of lockdown enabled gentle walks through woodlands, whilst walking our dogs allowed time for reflection and a form of meditation for me.
it's amazing how a frame has changed the look of this painting. you may notice that all my work has a white border and canvases are left plain. well, thanks to lucy @pictureplus she has worked miracles and now all my unframed pieces get her make-over and colour-matched frames with 5mm spacers are now the go. as soon as this one was framed, it was sold to a client in hong kong, the way to go!
