'up yours - pure gold'

usually a simple middle finger would suffice. aka - 'flipping the bird'. showing the middle finger is a widely understood, offensive gesture that conveys contempt, anger, or defiance. it has been used for over two millennia as an insult and is sometimes seen as a phallic symbol. the gesture can also be used to express protest, rage, or excitement.

the gesture communicates moderate to extreme contempt, and is roughly equivalent in meaning to "fuck you", "fuck off", "go fuck yourself", "shove it up your ass/arse" or "up yours". all this information for a couple of words!

mad as a box of frogs is an eclectic series of original works intricately contained within a defined box frame size. the words and phrases used may resonate with people, situations, or even abstract concepts. the content often weaves together elements of humour and confrontational themes. many pieces creatively manipulate the shape and form of the text itself, drawing the viewer's attention. the artwork explores various themes through a mixed media approach. while the phrase evokes a visual image, it is not meant to be taken literally.

it serves as a figure of speech that reflects the work that excites me and ideally captivates the viewer as well.
