'who cares wins' not your celebrity sas programme, but thinking about care for my parents (pertinent at the time of painting). caring for others involves emotional and practical support, while self-care is about taking time for activities that improve your physical and mental health (well well series of work). the colours have a connection with the special forces

 

the 'pure' series that explores short phrases or sentences. they are simple to look at, yet they can hide a complex process of colour choices, positioning and relationship to the text.

 

there's a saying that a picture paints a thousand words, but sometimes a phrase or a selection of words can raise questions or take you on a journey. it all depends on the words used and what order they are placed. it's an adventure creating vivid images from my weirdly fascinating mind, which is not always pure!
