pure is an ongoing project that explores short phrases or sentences. they are simple to look at, yet they can hide a complex process of colour choices, positioning and relationship to the text. there's a saying that a picture paints a thousand words, but sometimes a phrase or a selection of words can raise questions or take you on a journey. it all depends on the words used and what order they are placed. it's an adventure creating vivid images from my wierdly fascinating mind, which is not always pure!
